Congressional Hispanic Caucus

It’s never too early to learn how to manage your finances. That’s the lesson three Federal Reserve Banks delivered to students in September at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in Washington, D.C.

The Kansas City Fed, along with the Boston and Dallas Feds, spoke to approximately 200 students from the Washington, D.C. area about the importance of financial literacy.

The one-hour financial education lesson featured key topics from the Dallas Fed’s Building Wealth program. The community development program is designed to help consumers of all ages develop an ongoing plan for personal wealth.

Students attending the caucus received folders packed with information about the Federal Reserve System so that they could continue learning about financial education on their own. View photos from the event below.
