Biography
Martin Fukač is an Economist in the Economic Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He joined the department in December 2009. His current research interests focus on macroeconomic modeling and forecasting, and topics in monetary economics. Before joining the Bank, Martin worked as an Advisor at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in the team developing a new forecasting (DSGE) model. He also worked as a Senior Economist at the Czech National Bank, and a Junior Researcher at the Economic Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Martin holds a master's degree in finance and banking from Masaryk University in Brno, and a doctorate in theoretical economics from CERGE-EI in Prague.
